This is dedicated to my grandfather whom I lost to Covid-19.

He would be sitting by the plants,
Trying to figure out the mobile,
Which he just got
He would be mischief sometimes,
Playing his tricks upon people and me
It would seem that he is bitter from the outside
But would be laughing from the inside
He would take a walk
And bring the milk in the morning
He would take me to school
On his scooter
With my bag on his shoulder
His playful nature was the best
He could cheer me up even if I were upset
But when I look around,
He is no more
He is no more
